Darksiders conta a história de War, o 1º guerreiro do Apocalipse, que fora acusado de não respeitar a lei sagrada: iniciar uma guerra entre o Céu e o Inferno.

Devido a tudo isto, as forças do mal venceram os anfitriões celestiais e governaram a terra.

Charred Council ao saber de tal maldade, condenou-o entregando-lhe a sua morte. Mas a sua alma volta para se vingar com a ajuda de anjos com intenções maldosas…

Assim, War vai enfrentar o Inferno, criar alianças com demónios atravessando a terra em ruínas fazendo justiça.

Este jogo apresenta uma boa estrutura, quer em termos de gráficos, quer em termos de história pois apresenta uma guerra quer com o bem (anfitriões celestiais), como com o mal (Inferno). Este jogo é sem dúvida bom para quem gosta de guerras pois apresenta várias armas e arsenais. Recomendado.
